More or Less
More or Less
Grade Level: K
My goal for this lesson is for Kindergarten students to conceptualize number values and compare them.
Objective: Students will be able to identify which number is higher or lower, or if the two numbers are equal, and use the connect symbol to make the identification.
Materials:
-Worksheets
-Scissors
-Glue
Students can recall their counting abilities to count the objects in each bubble. Once they know how many objects are in each bubble, they can write the number next to the bubble. This will help them in comparing both a group of objects and single-digit numbers.

Mathematical Standard:
Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
Compare two numbers between 1 and 10 presented as written numerals.
